Show Mrs. Ethel Beeba Ward Conference Altonah ward conference was held in the ward hall Sunday afternoon, af-ternoon, Dec. 12th. Speakers were Stake President Wm. Brotherson of Boneta, and his counselors, Bernard Winkler of Bluebell and Leon Burton of Talmage. Other conference visitors were Wm. O. Larsen, Bluebell; Willis Potter, of Talmage and Max Hartman of Mt. Emmons. Other business taken care of in conference was the sustaining of Cecil Wall as President of the Mutual and Ronald Ron-ald Powell as Second Counselor of Sunday School. Mr. and Mrs. James McAfee, of Craig, Colo., visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks last weekend. Mr. McAfee is a brother of Mrs. Weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Murray are the proud parents of a new 6-lb. baby son, born Dec. 13 in the Roosevelt Hospital. Larry Maxfield accompanied the Altamont basketball team to Salt Lake City over the weekend. Kelley Riley went to Salt Lake City Wednesday, Dec. 8, for medical med-ical care. He entered the St. Mark's Hospital on December 15, where he underwent an operation. We wish Kelley a swift recovery. Those from Altonah attending correlation meeting at Mt. Emmons Em-mons Dec. 12 were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb, Mrs. Clenty Ames and Alta Ames. A large crowd from here attended at-tended the Wedding Dance and Reception for Mr and Mrs. Lewis Danniels (Revella Wall) in the Mt. Emmons ward hall. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson were in Duchesne Monday night, where Mr. Jacobson attended a business meeting. |
