Show flail ard Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Sunday School To Give Program Sunday, Dec. 26, the Sunday School will present the annual Christmas program, and all the members of the Ward are invited to attend. No class work will be held that day. A Fireside Chat was held at the chapel Monday evening, Dec. 13, with Ray Summers of Fort Duchesne as the speaker. There were thirty of the young people of the Ward present. Mrs. Ras-mussen Ras-mussen and Lora Asay are the leaders. Erie Hatch and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines were there also. Mrs. Beatrice Lundberg presented present-ed the literature lesson at Relief Society last Tuesday in place of Mrs. Vione Parrish, who was in Salt Lake City Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner are living in the home south of Al-terra. Al-terra. The honor students listed from Ballard recently were Carolyn Ross, Sonje Neilson, Elaine Angus and Mary Hullinger. Zane Asey was a home missionary mission-ary at Randlett Ward Saturday, December 12. Mrs. Leland Angus and daughter daugh-ter Joan made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines attended at-tended a Christmas party last Thursday evening in Roosevelt given for all employes of Ashton's store where Mrs. Gines is employed. employ-ed. Mr. and Mrs. George Pickup and family of California visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook one day last week. School will close at Alterra on Thursday, Dec. 23, for the Christmas Christ-mas holidays Mrs. Stella LaRose was a speaker speak-er in Sacrament meeting in White-rocks White-rocks Sunday, Dec. 12, when the Indians gave the program. Deanne Hullinger, who is a student at th USAC this winter, is home to spend the holidyas. This is the first time she has been home since school began. Gary Gardner and Norman Ras-mussen Ras-mussen are home from the BYU to spend the holidays. Mrs. Clyde Bartlett left for Salt Lake City Sunday to meet her husband who was coming home to spend the holidays. He has been stationed in Ilinois. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham who have resided in Salt Lake City this winter are here now to enjoy the Christmas holidays at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Bingham and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton. |
