Show Lynn G. White Will Serve Church In South America Lynn C. White will be honored at a testimonial at the Ballard ward chapel next Sunday evening eve-ning at 7:30, prior to his departure depart-ure for Brazil, where he will labor lab-or the next two and one-half years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- I day Saints. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Alden White of Ballard, Elder White will ' enter the Mission Home in Salt Lake City on Jan. 5 and will depart de-part for South America about a week later. His brother, Bryce, recently returned after serving in the West Central States mission j for two years. ' Always an active member of , the Ballard ward, Lynn held most j all the offices in the Deacons, I Teachers and Priests quorums and has been serving as a ward teacher teach-er since becoming a teacher. He graduated from Union High School with the class of 1952, and attended at-tended the Utah State Agricul-I Agricul-I tural College in Logan during the 1953-54 school year He has been helping his father on the Tarm the past few months. An invitation is extended the public to join in the testimonial that will be a part of the Ballard ward's regular Sacrament meeting. |
