Show TRIDELL Mrs. Lorna McKee Presents Play The Lapoint Ward presented a three-act play, "Paper Plates for Papa" at our Ward Friday evening. eve-ning. It was very well presented1, and everyone enjoyed it very much. The proceeds will go to the Building fund. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Houtz of Provo were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Houtz' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Morrill. Marion Morrill and Jack Goodrich Good-rich who have been employed at Moses Lake, Washington, for the past few months returned to their homes Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee attended at-tended the Temple excursion for Seventies at Salt Lake during the week. Miss Velma Mooseman, who has been attending school at the BYU, is home for the holidays. She will be employed at the Roosevelt hospital until she returns to her studies. CHRISTMAS PARTY The Bill Harvey home was the scene of a Christmas party Friday Fri-day night. A delicious chicken supper was served to the following follow-ing guests: Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley, Mr. and Mrs. Ray McKee, Mc-Kee, Mr. and Mrs. Laren Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross. The Morgan Merkleys from Vernal Ver-nal were Saturday night visitors at the James Harvey home. Charles Glines went to Salt Lake City Sunday. He will attend a tractor school for two days. George Harvey, who is now living in Salt Lake City, was a weekend visitor at his parents home of Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey. Har-vey. The Laren Rosses were guests at the annual Christmas faculty banquet held at Union Saturday night. Brother Fife, Vernal Seminary Instructor, and Wallace Winder, Stake High Council representative were speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night. Junior Morrill visited a short time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Morrill, Thursday evening. eve-ning. Reed McKee spent the weekend visiting in Smithfield, Salt Lake City, Lehi and American Fork with his brother and sisters. |
