Show City Council Orders Police Station Moved To City Hall 1955 Budget Gets Approval Of Mayor & Council Roosevelt city council, Monday night, ordered the police station located on Main Street closed and moved to the City Building in the room now housing the mayor and superintendent's office. They also approved the 1955 budget. These announcements were made by Mayor Paul Murshy. In an interview with Mayor Murphy, Tuesday, he indicated that a close study of the budget by the council and himself convinced con-vinced them that some reductions in the police department were imperative. im-perative.
