Show Davis Commissioners !i Change Meeting Dates 5 FARMINGTON -- The Davis County Commission is changing the days of its weekly meetings. BEGINNING Feb. 7, commission commis-sion meetings will be held on Mondays Mon-days and Wednesdays, said Com. Glen Saunders. The day changes are being im-plimented im-plimented by County Commissions around the state. THE INCREASE in meetings between be-tween various commitees and the State Association of Counties is the reason for the day changes, explained ex-plained Commissioner Saunders. "It is difficult for Commissioners Commission-ers from Southern Utah Counties to travel to Salt Lake for SAC meetings when their regular com- mission meetings are on Thurs- day," explained Com. Saunders. g BY CHANGING the meeting , ' days to Mondays and Wednesdays -'V it is easier for the commissioners to v'io travel to the meetings which are usually held on Thursdays and Fri- days, noted Com. Sainders. The Davis County Commission , originally planned to retain the lyi Tuesday and Thursday meeting dates, but decided to opt for the date change for convenience, said Com. Saunders. COM. SAUNDERS said regular meetings will be held Tuesdays in case of a Monday holiday.
