On Thursday, May 12, the National Honor Society's biggest big-gest and most exciting event of the year will take place. At 6:30 p.m. the society will travel to the Pacific Islands to feast on a Hawaiian Luau. All members need to be in attendance attend-ance to help ward off unfriendly unfriend-ly natives and protect next year's officers. THE REGION track meet will also begin on Thursday and run (get the pun) through Friday. This year's meet will be held at Viewmont, and we wish our team the best of luck. May 13, the Athletic Award Banquet will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 7 p.m. All male and female athletes, and their family and friends are encouraged to attend. Tickets are $5 per person for the dinner and program. The guest speaker speak-er will be Glen Tuckett, athletic athle-tic director at BYU. THE MADRIGAL Choir Spring Concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. the evening of Tuesday, May 17. Please plan to attend this every entertaining entertain-ing evening of music. With so many events taking place it's unlikely that any one will be sitting home counting the days until school gets out. That is except me, and guess what there are only 12! |
