The seven-part dramatization of D.H. Lawrence's autobiographical autobiographi-cal novel, to premiere on "Mobil Masterpiece Theatre," Sunday, May 15 on I'HS. (Air dates may vary; please check local listings ) "Sons and Lovers' was published in 1913, some 15 years before the equally controversial "Lady C'halterley's Lover." Karl Johnson is Paul, Lawrence's fictional counterpart. Lynn Dearth plays Clara, who along with Miss Mellinger's character, Miriam, cannot break Paul's Oedipal-like tie to his mother.
