Show . 3 Earn Eagles ! 1 ' " 'U U ; ' V, v BILL PRATT Bill Pratt, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Pratt, received his Eagle Scout award at a special spe-cial Court of Honor held April 27. Bill is a member of the Bountiful 37th Ward, Troop 669. and a student at Bountiful Jr. High. BILL HAS received his Faith in God Award, Arrow of Light and Bronze Palm. He has held many leadership positions posi-tions in his troop. He has earned 34 merit badges. Shir-lene Shir-lene Stratton was his Blazer B leader and Rex Plaizier his scoutmaster. His eagle project was gathering books to help 12-year 12-year old Jason Hardman start a new library in Elsinore, Utah. The donation of books was the largest contribution to the library. r 7 p. 4 " ' mmr $ J v 'i J iff SPENCER C. HANSEN Spencer C. Hansen received his Eagle Scout Award at the Eagle Court of Honor on Jan. 9. He is 13 years old and has been currently serving as eighth grade president at South Davis Jr. High. He has been on the honor roll this year receiving high honors. SPENCER enjoys such sports as golf, baseball, swimming swim-ming and basketball. He has been on the junior high basketball basket-ball team this year. He has been active in his church work serving as Deacons quorum secretary. For his eagle project, Spencer made volleyball standards stan-dards for the wards in the church house of the Bountiful North Canyon Stake. He earned and received his Order of the Arrow in April. ; i ' ' ' - ? , A - ml BRENT JONES Brent Jones, son of Clarence Clar-ence and Jayne Jones, received re-ceived his Eagle Scout award Feb. 23. He is a member of troop 719 of the Centerville 6th Ward. BRENT IS a very young Eagle. He became 13 on Feb. 6, of this year. He is in the seventh grade at Centerville Jr. High. Brent has always loved the outdoors. When he was seven years old, he went on a 60 mile backpack trip with his dad into the wilderness of Yellowstone. Every summer, either with the scouts or with his parents, Brent backpacks into the mountains. He loves to fish and won a fishing contest con-test with one of his scout leaders. Brent loves sports. Every season you'll find Brent with some kind of a ball in his hands. BRENT HAS always been active, and happy serving in his church. He has been in his Deacons quorum presidencies and is presently a patrol leader. Brent is the grandson of Clarence and Margaret Jones and Joyce Wilson of Bountiful. |
