Show Complete Elementary Menus Studies At Ricks Some 1.400 students were awarded associate degrees in commencement exercises held Aprd 21 at Ricks College. MARVIN J. Ashton. a member mem-ber of the Council of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was the commencement speaker. Governor John Evans of Idaho also spoke. Ricks College is the largest privately-owned junior college in the United States. It is owned own-ed and operated by the LDS Church.
