Show Muir Elementary Raises Over $3500 For Hearts Over $3500 was raised for the Utah Heart Association this month by 200 4th. 5th and 6th grade students at L.J. Muir Elementary. The students working in teams of six. voluntarily volun-tarily jumped their hearts out for three continuous hours in the annual fund raising Jump Rope for Heart. Jump-a-thon. DR. RUSSELL Olsen. principal prin-cipal at Muir School, indicated that not only did students participate par-ticipate in the event but they have also been training for it for some time to build the physical phy-sical fitness jumping rope takes. "Not only do they learn about ab-out fitness." said Bill Spencer, sixth grade teacher, and coordinator coor-dinator of the event, "but they get involved in community service. ser-vice. They do the jumping. They get the pledges. And then they collect the pledge money."
