Muir Thursday morning at its regular breakfast meeting at Lees Cafe. Other honors bestowed on Mrs. Muir are, Club Woman of the Year, Davis County Mother of the Year, Sr. Citizens honored her 80th birthday and most recently the BPW Woman of the Year. She has been active in her church and other civic organizations. Her longest reign was with the American Red Cross during our tragic war years. Her home is still open to everyone, far and near and to all her friends throughout the United States. She taught for years at Stoker School. One of her pupils was Governor Calvin Rampton. With Mrs. Muir above are, 1-r, friends Dora Trowbridge, Bertha L. Muir, Catherine Bednark, Exchange Club president, John R. Cushing and member, Frank H. Delost. |
