A chicken broccoli casserole is a favorite main dish of Karen Belliston and family. Daughters Lisa 5 and Tamara 3, like to help mother get the ingredients ready for this tasty casserole. A MEAL in one dish with the cooked broccoli, cooked chicken and rich with cream and just a bit of 7-up for an unusual ingredient, this should be served often to give the family meat and vegetables vegeta-bles in one entree. CHICKEN-BROCCOLI CASSEROLE iy2 lb. broccoli spears l4 cup butter 6 Tbsp. flour 2 cups chicken broth i2 cup whipping cream 3 Tbsp. 7-up 1 chicken y4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Cook a 2V2 to 3 lb. chicken and bone, cutting into chunks. Cook broccoli and drain. Melt butter and blend in flour, V2 tsp. salt and pepper to taste. Add broth and stir until it bubbles and thickens. ADD CREAM, unwhipped, and 7-up. Place cooked broccoli broc-coli crosswise in an oblong pan about 9x13 and pour half the sauce over this. Top with chicken pieces and to the remaining sauce, add the cheese. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, then slip under the broiler until a golden color. Serves 6-8. MRS.
