Dedication services were on Aug. 17, 1975 for the :. ,ew Val Verda First, Third and Fourth Ward Chapel at v J33SO. 59 West in Bountiful. THE PROGRAM which marked this event was presented by members of the -' three wards meeting in the building. Stake President Millon W. Russon presided : and Bishop Robert 0. Tibbitts conducted. The invocation was by Bishop Lloyd R. Hicken; musical selections, "The ;- Lord Bless You" and "Bless This House" by the Three-ward Three-ward choir, and an organ solo by Ronald Pitt. REMARKS WERE by Bishop Walter K. Rohloff and Elder Vernal W. Thompson. The dedicatory address and prayer were by President Milton W. Russon, and the benediction was by Bishop Albert H. Brown. Music was conducted by Gordon Berg, and accompanists accom-panists were Maurine Winter on the organ and Valorie Carlton on the piano. THANKS WAS expressed by President Russon to the entire membership of the Bountiful, Utah Val Verda Stake for their outstanding support and service and es- pecially their financial contributions con-tributions to the building. Architect for the building was Douglas Todd, and the builder was Inkley Construction. Construc-tion. UPON COMPLETION of the chapel, the six wards of Val Verda Stake were divided to form nine wards. The following new bishops were called: Bishop Robert O. Tibbetts, Third Ward; Bishop Albert H. Brown, Fourth Ward; Bishop Terry D. Smoot, Fifth Ward; Bishop Lynn K. Loftus, Eighth Ward; and Bishop Robert H. Garff, Ninth Ward. |
