Show ALPIfOEWS Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Mr. and Mrs. Augus Vance and baby of Tooele, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vance. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bates and daughter, Iris, were Sun'day guests of Mr. and Mrs. ira Russon at Garfield. Miss Marva "ance returned home Thursday from Arizona, where she lias been teaching school the past season. Miss Flora Devey returned to Salt Lake Wednesday, after spending the past ten days with her sister, M'r3 A'.liu H. Brown. Misses Zora Healey and Beryl Bail- left Sunday for the Haws fruit farm on Provo Bench, where they will remain during the strawberry season. Tuesday guests of Mrs. Grace Bate-man Bate-man were, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Bate-man Bate-man and daughter, Dorothy, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph' Johnson of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Bews and family fami-ly have moved to Sandy and Leroy Eair and family have moved to the ranch formerly owned by Mr. Bews. The Bair ranch has also passed into other hands. Mrs. Clarence Burgess arid three children, Pauline, Ann and Dale, left Friday of last week by automobile for Nevada, where she will visit with her mother, brothers and sisters. Thorley Fawcett of Lund, Kevada, and his sister, Miss Erma Fawcett. who has been attending school in Salt Lake the past winter, spent a few days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Terry, before returning return-ing Friday to their home in Nevada. Their grandmother returned to Neva da with them for an indefinite visit Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vance are the proud parents of a fine baby girl, 1 which arrived at their home Friday morning. Mrs. Vance's mother and sister, Mrs. Hopkins and Miss Ruth Hopkins of Coalville and Mrs. L. J. Vance, mother of Mr. Vance, arei at the Vance home caring for Mrs Vance and the new arrival. |
