Show u "Work Going Forward On Stake M. I. A. Road Show Rules and1 Scoring Points Drawn up: Everything Indicates Production Produc-tion on November 18 and 20. According to reports from stake M. I. A. officials, everything is being done ito warrant production of the Stake Road Show, for November 18 and 20, the first tfate reserved for its staging in Alpine and the latter date for American Fork. Those in charge have drawn up a set of rules which will be closely followed out this year. The members mem-bers to participate in the acts must all he representative members of the association represented. The time limits of the production are 10 to 12 for ' the Act itself-Three itself-Three minutes will be given for stage clearing and five minutes for sage setting in addition to the act allowed. Five points will be fleducted from the score for each! minute in excess of these time allowances. The decisions will be based on a score card, each act scored consecutively consecu-tively according to merit, scoring signed by Judge and placed in sealed envelop and handed to chairman. The judges will not be allowed to confer in rendering their decisions- The basis of scoring is as follows: A Selection of Theme 20 points. The theme is to be in harmony with M. I. A. standards and devoid of light, frivolous, cheap material. B Development of Theme 35 points. This should he consistent, artistic and possess stage quality. C General Effectiveness 30 points. Under this heading is included in-cluded lighting, staging, costumes, etc. D Originality 15 points. Wary officers report that already groups havo been selected for their act.
