Parallel Parking On Main Street Commencing Monday, October 21st, the new ordinance calling call-ing for parallel parking on Main street goes into effect and will be enforced by local officers. Due to the narrowness of Main street and the Orem line running through the center cen-ter of the street it has become necessary to park all cars .paralell to the ciurb in order to permit the through traffic to get through when trains are moving or stopped in our city. Parking spaces have been marked off and new signs put up. The new regulations go into effect on Monday.
