Show P.C. Skiers Finish High at Jr. Olympics Park City was well represented repre-sented last week when Winters Wint-ers Middle School Seventh-traders Seventh-traders Nicki Koch, Tori Pillinger and Jason Lawson competed in the U.S. Ski Association's Junior Olympics held at Crystal 'Mountain . Washington. The prestigious event for 11 ,12 and 1 3-year-olds is held annually and features the top 10 boys and top 8 girls in each of the eight divisions-around the United States. Nicki Koch and Jason Lawson qualified to compete in the Junior Olympics as a result of their impressive performances during races at Sun Vallev recently. Tori Pillinger automatically qualified quali-fied because of her expert ranking. All three are members mem-bers of the Park City Ski Team. In women's downhill, Nicki led all intermountain skiers with a 14th place' finish. Tori finished close behind in 16th place. Jason too 27th place in men's competition. Nicki also finished ahead of her intermountain competitors in ladies giant slalom, capturing captur-ing 27th place. Jason finished in the same place in men's class. Tori's.best race was slalom in which she finished in 7th place, only two spots behind Sun Valley's Liesl Schernthan-ncr. Schernthan-ncr.
