Show City Council to Hear Bike Path Proposal Poison Creek Parkway is the proposed name being given to the bike path project to be presented at the city council meeting tonight. Marianne Cone Chaplin . used an ariel photo to show the plan to recreat ion board on Tuesday night. The year round path is planned to be utilized for winter cross country skiing as well as summer time bike and pedestrian path. In the broadest terms the parkway will extend from state highway leading to the Ontario Ontar-io mine and follow the path of Poison Creek down in the Swede Alley area behind the depot and down easy street j past city partk past the mine dump arid out to Prospector Square. The path will then cross the highway and lead , past the cemetary and behind Mr. Air Cafe and then will extend out past Park Meadows as monies permit. The easy street portion of the parkway will follow next to the sight of the proposed state highway. Since the pathway y falls within feet of the highway ; the highway will pay for that portion of the path it runs ajaccnt to.
