Show Bureau Elects Bd. Members The Annual Meeting of the Park Citv Visitors and Conven-lion Conven-lion Bureau was held on Friday March 28 at the Kimball Art Center. Besides presenting an opportunity for many of the Bureau's members mem-bers to view the slide presentation on Park City the . meeting was to elect five new members to the board of Trustees. Jess Reid and Bill McComb hairman of the nominating ommittee suggested a slate f members who will serve for a three year term. The new members who were elected are: Jan Wyland, Western Airlines, Tom Hansen, Park Station Hotel, Dean Barrett, . Summit County Savings and Loan. Edna Schettler, Park City Racquet Club, and Ten Poison. Park Record. Garth Pymm, President of he Bureau told the gathering the Bureau had much to proud of it's first fifteen months of operation. Citing the recent "Phoenix Blitz" as a prime example Garth pointed out the support the Bureau had from all the members who attended the ten day sales trip, but more importantly all the prior work that had been done by the director. Debby Travis to insure a successful trip. Not only had the trip include A manv Park Citv businessn ' but mayor Jack Green was wie highlight speaker at the cocktail partv hosted bv Park City.;: ;;;; -Uv"' "The success of the Bureau is largely due to Debby's hard work and the support of the business community of Park City" stated Pymm. The next regular meeting of the Park City Visitors and Convention Bureau will be held on Thursday April 10th. at 8:00am. at Sneakers. |
