Show EXHIBIT f OR THE FOUR STATE FAIR A regular meeting of the county school board was held this morning and a considerable amount of general business was attended to. It was decided de-cided to close thJ county schools May twenty-second. It was also decided to hold at the next teachers' institute, one month from today, a social session rather than the regular routine of previous meetings. Committees were selected to prepare for the occasion when It is hoped that State Superintendent Nelson, Nel-son, of Salt Lake, may be present to address those in attendance. State examinations for the eighth grade will be held May 25, 2G and 27, and commencement exercises upon June 5th. The superintendent suggested that I review work In anticipation of the close of the school year should begin at once; also the preparation of exhibit ex-hibit work for the Four-State fair. Primary Superintendent Matilda Peterson Pe-terson outlined the grammar and nature na-ture study work for the month to come. |
