Show MUTILATED REMAINS STREWN ALONG TRACK Sfattlo, April 16. Three arrests weie made today upon the orders of Coroner J. C. Snyder after he had investigated in-vestigated the finding of the mutilated mutil-ated remains of Mrs. Vandla Kalem, strewn for 200 yards along the tracks of the Northern Pacific railroad at Struck, a few miles south of Ashburu. Those being held upder suspicion are Heniy Kalem, the husband of the dead woman; John Kalem, his brother, and' John Kalem, his seveutoeu-year-old-6on. all three of whom were at Struck Thuibday night when the woman camo to her death. The coroner has secured se-cured information which leads him to believe that Mrs. Kalem waa not Ifte victim of an accidental death and that she did not commit buicido Kalem is alleged to have threatened her life and It has been learned that her life waa insured for $5,000 in her huB-band's huB-band's favor. |
