Show OTTOMEEKIS Local Cattleman Granted Decree De-cree in Judge A. E. Pratt's j Court Otto Meek, prominent cattleman 1 and rancher, was granted a decree of divorce from Emma Meek this morning by Judge A. E. Pratt in the district court The court also award- j ed to Mr. Meek tho custody of one ' minor child, Eric C. Meek, 5 years I of age. ! Tho decision of the court this! morning terminates two suits which ' were filed by Mr. Meek, charging his I wlfo with desertion. The first suit was men uciouer 10, 1919, but was, set aside and action ordered dismissed by the court. In the complaint filed in the second case Mr. Meek alleged abandonment . and desertion since September 15,' 1919. The couple were married in Childress, Texas, October 10, 1911. Decree was also granted this morning morn-ing to Tirza Jones who filed suit against Joseph W. Jones, charging him with falluro to provide. Mrs. Jones was awarlded the custody of a minor child. They wore married In Hooper, Utah. October 23 190S. Marking tho third decree to be given during the morning session, the court granted divorce to Ada Young Smith against George Tylio Smith upon grounds of failure to provide. All decrees granted this morning will becomo final in six months. I oo |
