Show CHICAGO. April 26. A national convention con-vention of tho committee of forty-eight forty-eight to form a now political party will be held here July 10 to 13, it was announced today by M. C. Harrison, divisional director of the organization. Tho new party "representing tho needs and hopes of average American men and women will conduct an aggressive ag-gressive campaign against both reactionary reac-tionary old parties and in support of a constructive program of economic, social and political progress," an announcement an-nouncement said. Tho committee of forty-eight, which adopted a platform and a statement of aims at a convention in Si. Lous last December has a membership of 50,000, Mr. Harrison said. Points in Platform. The organisation's platform lm .eludes: "I'ublic ownership of transportation, transporta-tion, including stockyards, grain elevators, ele-vators, terminal warehouses, plpo lines, large abbatoirs and tanks. Public Pub-lic ownership of other utilities and of the principal large natural resources, resour-ces, large water powers and large commercial com-mercial timber tracts. "No land, including natural resources, resour-ces, and no patents to be held out of use for speculation, or to aid monopoly. monop-oly. We indorse the effort of labor to share in the management of industry indus-try and labor's right to organize and bargain collectively through representatives represen-tatives of their cwn choosing."
