Show Unions Urge Patronizing Only Stores Which Oppose Associated Industries IT.ho Ogtlen Trades and Labor assembly, assem-bly, which represents 34 local unions, , has .adopted a. resolution recommend' ! Ing that the members of Ogden unions and all other workers "confine their patronage to those business houses only -who openly and. publicly declare themselves by their advertisements or otherwise as being opposed to the so-called so-called "American plan." TIeywood were appointed, j "Committee on resolutions reported j as follows: J "Whereas, tho Retail Merchants as- 1 sociation, and other commercial bod- Iies, constituting practically 9b per cent of the business houses of Ogden, have declared themselves in favor of the 'open shop' as embodied in the so-called so-called American plan, and "Whereas, we hold this plan to be directly opposed to the best Interests and welfaro of the working people, and "Whereas, these institutions are supported sup-ported largely by the wages of the working people and depend upon our patronage for their existence, there- "Resolved, by the Ogden Trades and HU Labor Assembly, In regular session as-Mt as-Mt sembled on this 26th day or April. 1920.
