Show REPUBLICANS ELECT DELEGATES TO REPRESENT WEBER COUNTY . . AT CONVENTION AT PRICE Attended by approximately 250 party members, the district Republican convention con-vention -was held last night at the county court house. Arthur Woolley, county chairman, presided as temporary tempo-rary "chairman until a temporary set of "officers were elected. In placing before tho meeting the issues of the Republican party this election, he stated, "The two issues that wo have are tho eradication of the hogwallow of incompetence and extravagance at Washington and the issue of the treaty, trea-ty, that monstrosity that was still born at Versailles. W. L. Wattis was elected as chairman chair-man of the convention, with Joseph Evans as secretary. The gathering was truly representative, represen-tative, all but four country districts having delegates to tho convention. Throughout the meeting, allusions to "Governor Wattis" were made, while a remark concerning Hiram Johnson drew forth the biggest round of applause of the evening. The list of delegates chosen to represent rep-resent Weber county at Price on May 3rd, and to attend both conventions which will be held at that date, were chosen as follows: Delegates from Weber county to the Republican conventions at Price: W.
