OCR Text	Show ICELAND TO JOIN LEAGUE OF NATIONS WASHINGTON, April 27. Application Applica-tion by Iceland for membership in the league of nations, news of which has just renched Washington, will call attention at-tention to tho little known fact that Iceland is now a completely independent independ-ent state. The application states that Denmark voluntarily accorded independence inde-pendence to the island government in December, 1918. Threo other Btates have filed applications appli-cations for admission to tho league, the republic of Georgia, San Marino and Luxembourg .
