Show Taxpayers Meet With Cit' Commission on Washington Washing-ton Avenue Projects Property owners of north and south Washington avenue, meeting with the city commission last night, expressed themselves as favorable to the steps being taken by the officials regarding the paving of the east side of north1 Washington avenue between the river bridge and the north city limits. Following ;i lengthy discussion the taxpayers agreed with the commission , upon the matter of having the street' car company pave between their, tracks at the intersections only at the' present time. There are nineteen intersections in-tersections in the proposed district. !
