Champ Clark, former speaker of the house of representatives, lias decided to become a candidate for the Democratic presidential pres-idential nomination, it was announced here today by Mrs. Julia Sanders, an officer of the Swastika club, a woman's wom-an's political organization. Clark Is Willing. WASHINGTON, April 26. Former Speaker Clark said today that while he had not authorized anyone to an-nounco an-nounco hits candidacy for tho Democratic Demo-cratic presidential nomination, "no man could declino suqh an honor if offered freely."
