SECTION FOREMAN ' t x, KILLED BY TRAIN Provo, Nov. 17. Michael Maher, 40 years of age, section foreman .for the Denver & Rio Grande at Soldier Summit, Sum-mit, was instantly killed bv westbound pasaenger No. 1 this morning in Spanish Fork canyon. The body was brought to Provo, where it -will be held during efforts to locate friends or relatives. Maher stepped off one track to avoid an approaching freight train from the west. He did not notice the passenger train coming from the east until It was too late. He was struck In the right temple and his skull caved in.
