GYPSY WOMAN DECEIVED. Milford, Nov. 17 Members of a band of gypsies camping just outside Milford were arrested on the streets Monday night for creating a general disturbance. Four of them were thrown Into the town bastlle. At about 9 o'clock one of the gypsy wives came in search of her husband. "Upon finding him In jail she began a search for a policeman in hope of having the man released. One of the town boys, taking advantage of the situation, Is charged with having impersonated im-personated an officer for ' the purpose pur-pose of separating the gypsy woman from $7.50, for which he promised to release the incarcerated spouse. When the husband was not released the woman s leceeded In having the alleged al-leged officer arrested. He Is now under un-der $200 ball awaiting trial for his offense.
