Show Society CARD PARTY. S Sllvor Review No. 1, Woman's Benefit Ben-efit Association of tho Maccabees will give one of their delightful card parties on Friday evening, November 19th, in the Woodmen hall, 2320 Washington Wash-ington avenue. AH membors and friends are most cordially invltod to attend. FOR MRS. NOBLE. Saturday evening Mrs. Mary Wilson entertained in honor of Mrs. Noble who will leave soon to make her homo In Salt Lake City. After enjoying tho vaudeville at the Orpheum the company partook of a dollclous supper sup-per at Greenwell's. Those present were Mrs. Holden, Mrs. Emma Had-lock, Had-lock, Mrs. Alice Collins, Mrs. Luna Bowman, Mrs. Gertrude Weaver, Mrs. Jessie Fowler. Mrs. Mary Wilson, Mrs. Phoebe Henderson. Mrs. Florence Smith, Mrs. Dora Noble, Mrs. Emma Chausee, Mrs. Elizabeth Wild and Miss Jennie Prout FOR COMING WEDDING. Invitations have been issued for the wedding of Miss Myrtle Lorina Lock-wood Lock-wood and Burton Fremont DInsmoro to be solemnized by Rev. Frank G. Brainerd in tho First Congregational church next Wednesday, November 24. BIRTHDAY SURPRISE. Monday, November loth, being the anniversary of tho birthday of the Commander of Silver Review No. 1, Woman's Benefit Association of the Maccabees, the officers of the Review perpetrated a surprise on the lady. A pleasant evening was spent in games, conversation, and good wishes wish-es for tho health and happiness of Mrs. Holden. Delicious refreshments were enjoyed by all, and while the ladles were at tho table, Mrs. Holden was presented with a vase In token of the love and esteem in which she Is held by the lodge. Those present wore: Mrs. Holden, Mrs. Alice Collins, Col-lins, Mrs. Emma Hadlock, Mrs. Jesse Fowler, Mrs. Gertrude Weaver, Mrs. Hattlo de Wit, Mrs. Florence Smith, Mrs. Emma Chausee, Mrs. Luna Bowman, Bow-man, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Dr. Alice Ridge, Mrs. Graco Holden, Miss Anna Holden, and Miss Jonnie Prout All departed at a late hour wishing the hostess many happy returns of the day. AT MAIDS' AND MATRONS' CLUB. There will be a special two-course tea at the Maids' and Matrons' club Saturday afternoon from 4 until 5:30 o'clock. |
