OCR Text	Show WARNING HAS ITS EFFECTS. , Dominican Rebels Evacuate City on Demand of American Minister. San Domingo. The warning of the American minister, W. W. Russell, that the city of Santo Domingo would be taken by force unless it was given up by the rebels not later than Sunday Sun-day morning resulted in the evacuation evacua-tion of the city Saturday night. The rebel leaders, soldiers and rural guards stripped the fort of guns and war materials and withdrew from the city, leaving the civil police in charge. They notified Mr. Russell of their withdrawal.
