Show Open House set for Friday - - . . .f i V. ' ! An open house honoring Joseph P. and Ella Jones Bettridge on their 50th Wedding Anniversary will be held Friday, July 29. Friends and relatives have been invited to join with family members at the open house to be held at the Cedar Rock Church betweeen the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. The family requests, no gifts, please. The Bettridges were married in Parowan July 26, 1927. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. For the first two years of their married life they lived in Milford and later in Caliente, Nev. for 18 years --all --all while associated with the railroad. In 1947 they moved to Cedar City where Mr. Bettridge beca me associated with Cedar Lumber and Hardware and later Cedar Builders Supply before his retirement. Mr. Bettridge served for five years as Bishop of the MR. AND MRS. JOSEPH P. BETTRIDGE Caliente Ward. Both have been active in the LDS Church throughout their lives. They have a son Delton, who resides in Bountiful. They also have five grandchildren grand-children and three great grandchildren. |
