Show Souhem Utah Fishingls Tops With the opening of the general gen-eral fishing season In Utah Saturday, Sat-urday, a major portion of the population took to the streams and lakes In southern Utah returning re-turning excellent catches, it was reported. Panguitch Lake was the most popular spot on the opening day with several hundred boats and Into the thousand of fishermen going to the popular waters. Very few fishermen on Panguitch did not bring home limit catches and they certainly were the rule rather rath-er than the exception. Other waters which received a heavy Influx on the opening was the Duck Creek pond and creek, and here as well earlier fishermen reported excellent catches. Success Suc-cess dwindled later on the opening open-ing day and became slow late Sunday evening. Navajo Lake also attracted a goodly number of fishermen as dl(! Xolob Reservoir, Newcastle Reservoir Enterprise Reservoir, Yanucv Meadow in Parowan can-1 yon and Paragonah Reservoir. Mammoth Creek also received heavy fishing on the opening week end.
