Show I June Nuptials Unite Hunt-Tippetts I JARAGONAH Miss Larie Hunt, daughter of Mrs. Lasca P. Hunt became the bride of Jay Von Tlppetts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Von Tlppetts of Salt Lake City, on June 6. The couple spoke wedding wed-ding vows at a lovely home ceremony cere-mony with Bishop Victor R. Rob-1 lnson officiating in the double ring rites. The bride was lovely In her wedding gown of lace which featured fea-tured a fitted bodice, three-tiered waltz length flared skirt. Her veil fell from a Jeweled crown and she carried a bouquet of red carnations and lily of the valley. She was attended by her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Wanda Benson, as matron ma-tron or honor; Miss Carol Lund as maid of honor; her sisters Mildred and Janet, and Miss Reesa Tippitts as bridesmaids. ! The attendants wore pastel colored col-ored gowns and carried nosegays nose-gays of harmonizing chrysanthemums. chrysanthe-mums. Best man duties were performed perform-ed by L. C. Kelly. 1 Dozens of pink peonies provided provid-ed a lovely setting for the ceremony cere-mony and the wedding march was played by Miss Patsy Top-ham. Top-ham. The wedding was followed by a buffet dinner and tables were arranged on the lawn to accommodate accom-modate some 60 guests which included in-cluded relatives, close friends! and neighbors. Saturday evening the newly, weds were honored at a reception recep-tion in the Paragonah school auditorium. William S. Boar lman was mas-I mas-I ter of cerernonies for an interesting interest-ing program which Included the following numbers: piano solo, Miss Patsy Topham; readings by Claudia Jones, Mrs. Jean Hen-drickson Hen-drickson and Mrs. Ruth Board-man; Board-man; a vocal trio by Mrs. Sarah D. Robinson, Mrs. Wilma Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux and Mrs. Iras Jones; a 'dance by LaRae and Mina Lamoreaux Lam-oreaux and blackface act, consisting con-sisting of jokes and a piano duet by Mrs. Doris Williams and Mrs. Mena Mitchell. Following a response re-sponse from the bride and groom refreshments were served and dancing "was enjoyed for the remainder re-mainder of the evening. j In charge of the many lovely gifts were. Mrs. Cynti.la Hunt, Mrs. Norda Barton, Mrs. Anna Mellor and Mrs. Rayma Clark. Mrs. Rosella Barton supervised the serving, asslster by her daughters and by Mrs. Roka Thornton and Mrs. Iras Jones. The new Mrs. Tlppetts is a graduate of the Parowan High School and Seminary and of Henegar's business college In Salt Lake City. For some time she has been doing secretarial 'vork in the medical record' .1-P .1-P of St Mark's Hospita' Mr. Tippetts is a graduate of the University of Utah, has been J a member of the ROTC and was ! an Air Force navigator. He completed com-pleted a tour of duty in Europe and at present is an electrical engineer at Sperry Rand Corporation. Corpor-ation. Following a honeymoon trip to Grand Canyon the couple cou-ple will be at home in Holladay. |
