Show Nephi Is Selected For June Meeting Of Associated Clubs The June meeting of the Associated Asso-ciated Civic Clubs has been set for Saturday, June 20 at Nephl. There will be a directors' meeting meet-ing at 11 a. m. and a general meeting for directors and members mem-bers at 2 p. m. Both meetings will be held In the Nephl Community Com-munity Hall, with President Gyde E. Conover, presiding. Dr. Alva Boston, Nephl Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce president, will have chargo of the evening banquet, ban-quet, which will be held at a place to be announced later. This banquet ".111 be open, as usual, to both men and lari'fs. At the afternoon meeting,, J. N. Stacey, read committee chairman, chair-man, will report on the progress of Highways 24 and 54, and other oth-er road developments within our area. Gordon W. Clark, our advertising adver-tising chairman, will report on the advertising program at this meeting. As the U. S. Forest Service will have charge of the recreation development de-velopment In and around Flaming Flam-ing Gorge Dam, Gilbert B. Doll, division of .water recreation and lands, will explain the recreational recrea-tional features now being planned plan-ned for the Flaming Gorge area. Main speaker at the evening banquet will be Robert Halllday, executive secretary of the Utah Manufacturing Assn. His topic will be "Building of Industrial Development In our Outlying Counties." A local speaker will outline needs of Industrial development de-velopment In the Nephl area. |
