Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Notice is hereby given that Spring Creek & LaVerkin Creek Irrigation Company, co Rowan W. Williams, Kanarraville, Utah, has filed a request for extension of time from the State Engineer Eng-ineer to make and submit Proof of Appropriation under Application Applica-tion No. 15508, covering 5.0 sec.-ft. sec.-ft. of water and 300 ac.-ft. of water to be diverted from unnamed un-named streams which are tributary tribu-tary to LaVerkin Creek, tributary tribu-tary to Virgin River, in Iron County, Utah, to be used for irrigation ir-rigation purposes. It is represented that construction construc-tion was completed October, 1949, at a cost of $19,260 on a dam which is 30 ft. in height, with a crest length of 371 ft. and impounds im-pounds 210 ac.-ft. of water. Since this date, water has been impounded, im-pounded, stored and conveyed from LaVerkin Creek to lands immediately im-mediately south of Kanarraville, In Iron County, and used to supplement sup-plement the Irrigation of 400 acres of crop land. Plans are underway to correct the loss of water from seepage through the reservoir. It is necessary that more time be given for the completion of this i project Protests resisting the granting of said request with reasons therefor, must be submitted in duplicate and filed with the State Engineer, 442 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, on or before be-fore April 4, 1964. A hearing will be held on this request before the State Engnieer at 10:00 a. m., Wednesday, April 22, 1964, at the County Courthouse, Court-house, Parowan, Utah.
