Show Governor Clyde to Open "Operation Main Street" Program in Cedar City mmmmrmmyu mm u pin n jm qaiMw mm ft GOVERNOR GEORGE D. CLYDE Governor George D. Clyde's program "Operation Main Street," will get underway Wednesday, March 11, and Cedar City has been designated as the starting point. "Operation Main Street" is a program where Governor Clyde expects to make visits to communities com-munities of the state and to meet with individuals and groups to get their expressions of matters concerning the state. Cedar City has been selected as the first stop on the new program pro-gram and as a part of the day's events, a Governor's Banquet will be staged at the College of Southern Utah Student Center at which time Cedar City will be proclaimed capital of Utah for the day. While in the city he will speak at an assembly at CSU, and will make a tour of the city under the direction of the Chamber of Commerce. During the afternoon the Gov- ernor will be available for private pri-vate interviews. Governor's Itinerary A complete itenerary of the Governor's visit follows: 10:00 a. m. Governor Clyde arrives at Cedar City Airport. 11:00 a. m. College of South-ern South-ern Utah Assembly. 12:00 Noon Luncheon at College Col-lege with Community, College and Student Leaders. 1:30 p. m. Chamber of Commerce Com-merce Tour of City. 2:30 p. m. to 5:00 p. m. Personal Per-sonal Interviews with citizens of area. Make appointments with Chamber of Commerce office. Telephone 586-4022.
