Extension Service Sets Discussion on Sprinkler Irrigation A meeting to acquaint farmers with sprinkler irrigation and the importance of proper design, will be held at the Escalante Valley Community building on Tuesday evening, March 10, at 7:30. Experts from the Rainbird and Wade Rain Equipment companies compan-ies will team up with the E. C. Olsen Company to present the informational program, according accord-ing to Wallace Sjoblom, Iron County agent. Items to be covered include proper water application, importance import-ance of proper sprinkler engineering engin-eering and design, effect of wind on sprinkler effectiveness, and the pact of sprinkler systems in the various farm cropping systems.
