Show I KANARRAVILLE NZWS NOTE I Carma Williams Visiting relatives and friends in town last week were Mr. and Mrs. George Wood of Las Vegas. Monday morning we had a nice snow storm with about four inches of wet snow. Mrs. Jennie Williams went to Salt Lake City to attend the Intermountain In-termountain Farmers Association Associa-tion meeting. Jennie is president of the ladies' auxiliary. Many of our townspeople attended at-tended the dedication of the new Cedar City High School. , Senator Frank E. Moss, Leonard Leon-ard Smith and Phil Cowley met ' last week with the people of Kanarraville to discuss and offer their assistance in helping us to get the interchange west of Ka- I narra on the new highway. I Chesley Williams, son of Mr. i and Mrs. Chester Williams went to southern Nevada over the week end with the College of Southern Utah Physical Educa- ' tion Department to present pro- i grams in all of Nevada's High Schools. Chesley participated in the dancing. David and Carolyn Williams of Provo and Carolyn's mother and sister spent Saturday with David's Da-vid's mother and sister, Ethna and Barbara Williams. Mrs. Barbara Williams and children of Las Vegas spent the week end here with husband, Rowan, who is superintendent for Stout Construction. Mr. and Mis. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Slack and children of Salt Lake City spent Saturday at the home of their uncle and aunt, Leonard and Verna Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Berry and daughter, Aloma, spent a few days in Salt Lake City on business. busi-ness. They were guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis. They also visited vi-sited their sisters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Newberger, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gregerson. While there Alenna and Aloma were invited to attend the graduation grad-uation of Alenna's neice, Mrs. Linda Bringhurst Smith from Z. C. M. I.'s Modeling School. Mrs. Vaughn Isom is in Provo attending a special therapy school at BYU. The purpose of the school is to help her to be able to speak. David Williams, one of our home-town boys, is helping very much in the project and we all hope that it is a success. Some of our young people attended at-tended the drag races in St. George Sunday. B. N. Williams won a trophy in the races.
