Show jit' . -rr - ... ife Mr. and Mrs. Rodney R. Batt Marlyne Truman and Rodney Batt Exchange Marriage Vows in St. George LDS Temple Scene for the recent wedding of Miss Marlyne Truman and Rodney R. Batt was the St. George LDS Temple. Temple President, Rudger Atkin officiated officiat-ed during the February 22nd double-ring ceremony. Saturday, February 29, the newlyweds were honored at a reception re-ception held in the Cedar Fourth Ward. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Rema Truman and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Batt of Cedar City. During the reception the bride wore the traditional white gown, rhe dress was styled to floor length and featured lorg point-?d point-?d wrist length sleeves and a scalloped neckline. Completing the attire for the bride was a ewel studded crown with an ittached veil of French illusion ' !rom white roses, ivy and blue streamers. I In keeping with a blue and vhite color scheme, the bride's ittendant, Miss Tammy Robin-ion, Robin-ion, wore a dark blue satin i tress with a chiffon overskirt. rhe dress was accented with I vhitc elbow-length gloves a id a vhite carnation corsage. Best man at the nuptials was :he bridegroom's brother, Mr. jordon Batt. Mother of the bride was dress-?d dress-?d in a light tan shade. Both Tiothers had white carnation corsages. cor-sages. Assisting the honored pair at their reception was Golda Iverson and Sidney Hahne who attended the guest book duties. Kitchen hostesses were Cathy and Christine Chris-tine Ashdown along with Netta Batt Serving the many guests who called during the nuptial ?vent were Miss Linda Truman and the Misses Melanie Batt and Twyla Batt. Gift room attendants were Janice Rowberry and Janet Batt with Larry Truman and Charlotte Batt as gift-bearers. Prior to her wedding Marlyne was honored at a personal shower show-er given by Miss Tammy Robinson. Robin-son. The couple are currently making mak-ing their home in Cedar City but plan to reside in California in the near future. |
