Show Investment Committee Named by Foundation I The Southern Utah Foundation board of directors has appointed an Investment Committee to analyze an-alyze possibilities of investment of recent gifts received by the Foundation so as to provide the optimum fulfillment of the purposes pur-poses of the Rifts. Robert B. White, Jr., president of the Foundation, said that most of the recent gifts have provided that the funds may stay with the Foundation for one year or more so that the income for that Ieriod may be used to defray operating expenses of the Foundation. Foun-dation. Any increase in principal during the time the. funds are held by the Foundation would, of course, acrue to the benefit of the ultimate donee, President White said. The committee named by the Foundation to recommend investment invest-ment of gift funds consists of: Frances Betenson, chairman; Dixie Dix-ie Leavitt and Loren Whetten. All are public spirited citizens, .two of which are members of the Foundation board of directors direct-ors and all of which are members mem-bers and sponsors of the Foundation. |
