Show Cedar City to Host Eight Team Tourney Cedar City will play host March 20 and 21 to a regional Indian tournament it is announced an-nounced this week. Eight teams from southern Utah, Ut-ah, Nevada and Arizona will participate in the two-day eient which will be staged at the Col lege of Southern Utah fieldhouse. Brackets have been determined and opening round games set, those in charge state. In the upper bracket Cedar City will meet Las Vegas, Nev., and St. George will tangle with Kan-osh. Kan-osh. Lower bracket pairings include Enterprise vs. Moccasin, Ariz., in the opening round and Moapa, Nev., against Richfield. The eight teams represent In-jdian In-jdian Branches of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the regional area. The public is Invited to attend the games. Times of the games will be announced at a later date. A full round of play is scheduled Friday afternoon and evening with Saturday games to be played play-ed In the forenoon with championships champ-ionships in the evening. |
