Show Funeral Rites Set For Joseph M. Jensen Funeral services are being held this, Thursday afternoon, for Joseph Jo-seph M. Jenson, 78, well known Parowan farmer and livestock-man, livestock-man, who passed away at his home on Monday morning from causes incident to age. The services will convene at 2 p. m. in the Third Ward chape', with Bishop Verl E. Taylor conducting. con-ducting. Burial will follow in the Parowan City cemetery. A viewing view-ing of the deceased was held at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City on Wednesday evening eve-ning from 7 to 8 o'clock, and will be at the family home in Parowan from 11 a. m. until time of services on Thursday. Mr. Jensen '..as a lifelong resident resi-dent of Parowan, and was born here Aug 1, 18S5, a son of Neils and Mary Neilson Jensen. He was married to Rhoda E. Gurr on July 12. 1909. He had engaged in farming and livestock raising throughout his life. He was a member o the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He Is survived by his widow, two sons, Joseph Elmer and La-Marr La-Marr G., Parowan, one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Marietta) Murphey of Granger, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Daniel F. (Pearl) Macfarlane, Parowan, and six grandchildren. |
