Show KEVrt FD0L1 CUKI1IT Donna Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport and daughter, Sheral, traveled to Fillmore Saturday to attend an Open House at the Fillmore Stake House, honoring their son-in-law and daughter, Fred and Connie Whicker of Cedar City, who were married in the St. George Temple, November 18. The lovely affair was hosted by Fred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Henry Whicker. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hartshorn and sons, Paul and Barry, of Imperial, Im-perial, Calif, spent the holiday week end here with Mrs. Hartshorn's Hart-shorn's father, Mr. Merl Radford. They returned home Sunday, tak-lng tak-lng Mr. Radford back with them to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. John Johnes visited visi-ted in Las Vegas, Nev. recently with friends. Miss Pat Humpherys was here from Salt Lake City to spend the Thanksgiving holidays with her folks, the Hyrum Humpherys. She brought two of her girl friends with her to enjoy the vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulet and children traveled to Antimony Antimo-ny to spend Thanksgiving day with Mrs. Hulet's folks, the B. L. Matthews. Thanksgiving day guests at the Oscar Hulet home was Mrs. Hulet's sister, Mrs. Pauline Neptune Nep-tune of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet will be in Salt Lake City from Wed-nesday Wed-nesday to Friday of this week for a combined business and pleasure plea-sure trip. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Lawrence are enjoying a visit in southern California with their son, John, and family at present. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence and family left last Friday for Logan to spend a few days visiting visi-ting with Mrs. Lawrence's folks, Mr. and Mrs. William F. King. They will also visit with Mr. Lawrence's sisters, Mrs. Norton B. James and family in Hunter and Mrs. Max Rees and family in Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie H. Morton and son, Tony of Downey, Calif, spent the Thanksgiving holidays here visiting with their son, Rodger Rod-ger and family also with Mrs. Morton's sister, Mrs. Al Mathe-son Mathe-son and brother, Herbert White and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow and daughter, Shirley, spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving day in Enoch with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clark MaxwelL Mr. and Mrs. Deo El Stapley are the proud parents of a baby boy born Nov. 21st at the Iron Co. Hospital. Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley received word Thanksgiving day of the birth of their second grandchild, a little girL born to their son-in-law and daughter, Paul and Mary Jane Rasmussen of Lansing, Michigan. The couple have a little two year old son also. Overnight guests at the Bert-rand Bert-rand Dalley home was Mrs. Dal-ley's Dal-ley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet of St. George. The Hulet's and Mrs. Dalley and daughter, Mary Beth, traveled to Parowan Thanksgiving day to have dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Rasmussen and family. Other week end visitors at the Bertrand Dalley home were Mrs. Jeanette Bayles. Mrs. Joan Jerome Jer-ome and family, the Richard Batts of Parowan and the Niles Bayles of Las Vegas. |
