Show Ann Sherratt Weds Clay ton Frehner In St. George Rites I Miss Ann Sherratt became the brideof Clayton Frehner on Friday, Fri-day, Nov. 1-7, in the St George Temple. Milton Earl, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs Ila G. Sherratt, Cedar City, and the late Burns K. Sherratt Mr. Frehner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Frehner, Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev. The couple was honored at a wedding reception Friday at the LDS Institute in Cedar City. The bride wore an original ' gown of delusted satin, trimmed ' with Alencon lace roses , appli-' appli-' qued across the bodice and streaming from inverted pleats in front. Folds of satin swept to a chapel train. The veil was elbow length illusion flowing from a crown of cultured pearls. She carried a bouquet of cybidi-um cybidi-um orcids surrounded by talisman talis-man roses. Mrs. Lee Sherratt was matron of honor. Miss Joanne Lunt was maid of honor, and Miss LeeAnn Dorrity, Miss Jean Misel, Mrs. Lenore Francom and Miss Verona Vero-na Frehner were attendants. They wore gowns of deluster-ed deluster-ed satin in shades of gold, burnt orango, and nut, with matching shoes and carried baskets with autumn flowers of gold and burnt orange accented by gold and bronze gru'.ns. Bryan Hafen was best man. Lee Sherratt, Dan Frehner and John Misel served as ushers. For the occasion the bride's mother chose a gown of ivory taffeta imprinted with gold rose featuring a princess bodice flowing flow-ing to a bell skirt. It also featured fea-tured a bateau neckline with el-, el-, bow length sleeves. The bridegroom's bride-groom's mother wore a dusty rose lace over taffeta with a semi-full semi-full skirt, three quarter length sleeves with a scoop neckline. Both Afo:a corsages of double cymbidium orchids. Pouring at the reception were Mrs. Sam Gentry, and Mrs. Lee Forsyth. Annette Seaman, Phy-lis Phy-lis Chatterley, Patricia Parry and Pamela Parry, served. Ada Marie Wood was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Ray Eggert, Mrs. Frank Cooley, Mrs. Richard Stucki and Mrs. Bill Smith were in the gift-room. gift-room. Assisting in the kitchen were Mrs. LaNoir Jones, Miss Ora Smith, Mrs. Lee Guymon, Mrs. C. J. Parry, Mrs. Les Hahne and Mrs. Laurence Misel. The bride attended the College of Southern Utah and was active in dance and music. She sang the lead in the opera, was a cheerleader, and drum majorette and was Captain of the AFRDTP Sponsor Corps. She was affiliat- ed with the Phi Alpha Beta sorority. sor-ority. Mr. Frehner attended CSU and served as the student body president. pres-ident. He recently returned from a mission for the LDS Church in the New England States. Following a short honeymoon, the newlyweds are temporarily at home in Mesquite, Nev. They plan t; register at the Utah Slate University for the winter quarter. . . |
