Show Legion Auxiliary Has Party Room to Rent The next meeting of the American Amer-ican Legion Auxiliary will be held December 11 in the Auxiliary Auxil-iary home south of town. All members are urged to attend at-tend this meeting, as important matters of business are to be discussed. A Christmas party will folow the meeting. Mrs. Blanche Dotson has announced an-nounced that the Auxiliary home has acquired a new look, thanks to the generosity of the Leigh Furniture Company who have carpeted the home at a greatly membership of the Auxiliary members. A new heating unit has been installed, making it a warm and pealsant place to meet. It has been decided by the membership of the Auxialiary to offer this room for rent to clubs and private parties for various var-ious meetings and parties. Anyone wishing to rent this room for her own club group, please contact Mrs. Dotson or Mrs. Libby Perry, or any member of the Auxiliary. As the holiday season is approaching, ap-proaching, many ladies wish, to entertain their friends, but find it difficult to prepare their homes for the festive holiday entertaining they wish to da. The Auxiliary home will answer her needs, as it Is equipped withi her needs. |
