Show Advancements Highlight Boy Scout Court of Honor Held Sunday Evening At the November Boy Scout Court of Honor for the Brian Head District of the Utah Parks Council, Coun-cil, held Sunday evening in the Enoch Ward chapel ten scouts and scouters of the district were recipients of advancement awards and 34 scouts of the district received re-ceived one or more merit badges in their quest for higher ranking In the scouting program. Advancements made at the court of honor as listed by W. Clair Rowley, advancement chairman, chair-man, were as follows: Enoch Troop 336, Wilson Gray and Dennis Arrowcarp, First Class; Peter Grlmshaw, Star; Nor-man Nor-man Grimshaw, Michael Grlmshaw Grlm-shaw and Randy Grimshaw, Eagle Ea-gle Palm awards (Gold). Parowan First Ward Troop 341, Joe Hosten Nez, Life award. Parowan Third Ward Troop No. 343. Garv Bunn. Second Class; Larry Topham and Craig Adams, Star awards. Merit badges went to the following: fol-lowing: Enoch Troop 336, Grant Sherratt and Wilson Grey. Parowan Troop 342: Wayne Robinson, Eldon Stubbs, Royden Orton, Joe Hosten Nez. Parowan Troop 319: Theron Wheatley, Danny Worthen, Elliot Hulet, Leslie Hulet, James Adams, Wayne Rowley, Larry Smith, Tony Ridley, David Hyatt, Ray-mon Ray-mon Matheson, Raymon Banks. Parowan Troop 343: Rlckie Adams, Gary Cartwrlght, Dewey Topham, Carlyle Gurr, Robert Orton, Or-ton, Robert Rowley, Larry Orton, Harold Mitchell, Judd Hendrlck-son. Hendrlck-son. Garth Decker, Craig Adams, Clinton Bentley, Larry Topham. Paragonah Troop 331: Randall Lamoreaux, Vernon McBride, Gerald Ger-ald Davenport, Thomas Jones. The Enoch Ward Scouts had charge of and conducted the opening op-ening and closing ceremonies of the honor court. Winner in the monthly contest conducted by the district troop committee was the Parowan Third Troop No. 343. The contest Is based on the accumulation of advancements and merit badges for the month, and attendance at the court of honor. |
