Show Luckie Felstead Called To Serve in Gulf States Mission r ' m ""nm' ' "" " LUCKIE B. FELSTEAD Bishop Charles H. Gurr announces an-nounces that a farewell testimonial testimon-ial will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Parowan Third Ward chapel cha-pel in honor of Elder Luckie Bert Felstead, who has been called by the LDS Church to serve as a missionary mis-sionary for the next two years in the Gulf States Mission. Bishop Gurr states that the testimonial will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. and will make it necessary nec-essary to move the regular fast and testimony meeting of that ward to Sunday, Dec 10, at 1 p. m. Elder Felstead is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Felstead, a gradu- ate of Parowan High School and a former student at CSU In Cedar City. He already has a brother. Elder Ross Birch, laboring in the Great Lakes Mission, i Speakers on the program will be Richard Batt and Karl O. Mitchell, with remarks by Bishop Gurr and a response by the missionary. mis-sionary. The ward choir will sing "The Spirit of God Like a Fire Is Burning," as the opening number num-ber and "God Be With You," as the closing song. Special number will be a vocal duet by Kula D. Orton and Mary Dawn Dalton. Invocation will be offered by Decker Orton and the benediction will be by Gordon Batt. A cordial invitation is extended extend-ed to all friends and reltlves of the young missionary to attend. |
